how do you get your gx80 shutter below 1 second i cant do that

Hi, very nice video, thanks to share it. I make documentaries about traditions of native peoples. I would like to know your thoughts on Pocket 3 and HLG vs V-LOG. If you have used them extensively, which one do you prefer? When to use HLG or V-LOG? Is the dynamic range of HLG much higher than the NORMAL profile or just slightly better in video editing? Thanks to share for your thoughts

Hi, what color profile were you using?

I bought it. The machining is a bit rough, and I can only fit it to one of my M43 cameras. Too tight both at the camera end and at the lens end. Even that needed some work to remove some paint and metal with a file. Not recommended.

This is a great lens - it just needs a lot more practice to get good results. But it is worth the time and effort.

Thanks. I have the lightweight version, and the center is sharpest at f/2.8. Corners are best at f/5.6. Don't stop down beyond f/8 in normal use. Mine focuses just beyond infinity. The distortion is certainly there, but it has generally not bothered me. The extreme angle of view is fantastic. I can stand on a street corner and shoot down two streets at the same time. It's the only lens I use now, for both still and video. Bravo Laowa!

This monitor have the problem of creak noises when use monitor mounted on cold shoe from the bottom. Mine creak loudly when I push it forward and backward and even if I tight it up in one position and I shoot handheld and walk with it, makes some noises that in camera microphone gets on each clip. I don't know I gotta send it back or cage would solve that problem? Did u notice that issue with yours too?

Unfortunately, Metabones is always better at the edges than any of these cheaper speedboosters. I have both Metabones and Pixco and can confirm that while none of us like to pay the Metabones price, you do get better performance for the money. However, if shooting portrait, these cheap speedboosters can be a great choice, because in the center, the differences are much smaller there.

I wish you could do tutorial of photography/videography for beginners. You explain things well. I have gh5 but have not learned how to use it yet.

Many thanks for this very informative video. It makes me think of buying this lens. Because my favorite lens is the Olympus 8-25 mm, I very seldom use AFC. But for street videos taken @ 200 mm, I imagine AFC would help me a lot. Hence I have one question for you : on your G9, how did you set the transition speed for AFC ?

excellent video! I have the same 12-34 f2.8 lens with a G7 and I was worried that the lens was a waste of money, but it turns out it is because the sharpness on the G7 for stills is just not that good lol

I’m personally a big fan of HLG, but on my GH6 filming in VLog (which seems identical to PQ gamma curve) sensor data first, putting it in a PQ timeline applying HLG, and using PQ output tone map and project export to limit the HDR to 1000 nits

I'm using my 7.5mm f/2.0 with a single step up ring from 46 -> 72 with a CPL and ND400 with no vignetting at all! My filters are Hoya ND400 HMC and Hoya CPL Pro1 Digital. Not very thin. I hope that helps.

A good lens in its day and still very useable for most work. I think yours may have had a bit of a knock as mine is very smooth zooming.
